Welcome to Solitary Rise
Welcome to Solitary Rise, Woolgoolga's oasis of tranquility and vitality! Located on the Mid North Coast of New South Wales, our studio offers a serene sanctuary where you can nurture your mind, body, and soul through the transformative practices of Pilates and Yoga.
At Solitary Rise, we believe in the power of holistic wellness to elevate every aspect of your life. Our experienced instructors are dedicated to guiding you on a journey of self-discovery, strength-building, and inner harmony. To ensure your visit to the studio is an easy one, please see the following Terms & Conditions.
Arrival and Departure:
Arrive 5-10 minutes before the scheduled start of your class.
The door will be closed and locked at the start of class, with late arrivals not permitted to join the class – this is to avoid disruption and out of respect for the teacher and those attending the class.
Booking and Cancellation:
All classes are to be booked in advance through our online booking system – either via our website www.solitaryrise.com or MINDBODY. If you are experiencing technical difficulties with our booking system, please contact the studio via email hello@solitaryrise.com
Cancellations must be made at least 2 hours prior to the commencement of the scheduled class to avoid being charged.
Late cancellations and/ or no-shows for Membership clients will be charged a $10 fee from the nominated bank account selected for your Membership.
Late cancellations and/ or no-shows for Class Pass Pack holders and Casual visits will have 1 x class pass deducted from pack or void Casual visit pass.
By joining the waitlist, you are committing to the class, with the understanding that you may be added up to 2 hours before it starts. If you know you cannot attend or will be unable to check your status, please remove yourself from the waitlist.
All membership cancellations require 14 days notice in writing to hello@solitaryrise.com.
NB: These policies are in place due to our small class numbers, the respect of the instructor and fellow members on a waitlist.
Reformers:
One Reformer class may be booked and attended per day. This is to avoid overbooking and due to the size of our Reformer class. Management may cancel one of the bookings at their discretion if overbooking occurs.
Socks and mats/ towels are mandatory for all Reformer classes.
NB: Socks are available for purchase at Reception.
Mat work Classes:
Personal Mats should be brought to each class (with the option to bring any other personal props you like). All other props are provided in the studio.
Membership Suspension:
By adding a suspension to your account, you are simply pausing your membership. Please ensure you cancel any classes you have booked during the suspended period as soon as you send in the suspension request form. Please be aware that you are unable to book/ amend your classes while there is a suspension in place – 48 hours notice is required. There is a $5 suspension fee.
Attire and Personal Belongings:
Wear comfortable clothing that allows for movement.
Leave shoes and bags/ personal belongings in designated areas. The studio is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Hygiene and Etiquette:
Please maintain personal hygiene and refrain from wearing strong perfumes or colognes or excessive tanning/ makeup (on Reformer beds).
Socks and mats/ towels are to be used on Reformers. Mats/ towels are required for mat work, yoga.
The use of personal props is encouraged for your personal preference and to ensure adequate supplies are available.
All equipment, where applicable, is to be wiped down after use. Antibacterial wipes are provided by the studio.
Respect the space and others by keeping noise levels down, including silencing mobile phones and other electronic devices before entering the studio.
If member/ client behaviour is deemed inappropriate or disrespectful, you will be no longer be permitted to utilise our services. This decision is made at the manager’s discretion.
Health and Safety:
Inform your instructor of any injuries, medical conditions, or pregnancy before every class.
Stop immediately if you feel pain or discomfort during the class and inform your instructor.
Stay hydrated and bring water to class if needed.
By attending classes or sessions at our studio, you agree to our liability waiver.
Studio Environment
Keep conversations to a minimum during class to allow for focus and immersion.
Respect the instructor’s guidance and follow their instructions throughout class.
Treat the studio equipment with care and report any damages to the instructor or staff.
Our studio building is beautiful and old – if you notice any issues or concerns, please raise with staff immediately.
When leaving the studio, please be mindful of our neighbours.
Private Sessions and Workshops:
Private sessions and workshops require advance booking and may have different cancellation policies – contact management via hello@solitaryrise.com for further details.
Arrive promptly for private sessions and workshops to make the most of your time.
Feedback and Communication:
We welcome your feedback to improve our services. Feel free to speak with the instructor or contact us via email hello@solitaryrise.com
Communicate any concerns or special requests to the studio staff.
Liability Waiver:
By attending classes or sessions at our studio, you agree to our liability waiver. If booking online, this occurs automatically. If attending casually, or purchasing passes in studio, please read and sign the waiver before your first class.
